In Hispania different tribal groups had particular rites for their human sacrifices. In the north of the hispanic peninsula, victims were offered to an indigenous deity named Ares. In the Salamanca area, the "Bletonense" tribe celebrated the agreements by sacrificing a man and a horse. The Lusitans also included human sacrifices in their divination rites.
